The Falklands Memorial Garden. This commemorates the Marines
who died
during the Falklands War in 1982. 45 Commando lost 12 men and their names
appear on the plaque beside other members of 3 Commando Brigade Royal Marines
who did not return.

Major General Andrew Whitehead DSO takes the salute at the
25th Anniversary reunion marking 45 Commando's participation in the
Falklands War. He commanded the unit throughout that campaign
and as a result was awarded the Distinguished Service Cross.

The Station cinema was renamed Bewley Hall in 1977 following the death of Marine Neil Bewley in West Belfast. The stage has long been removed. Cdo HQ Left.
